We live and create in Mompeo, a quiet hilltop village in the Italian countryside. Here, surrounded by nature, history, and silence, we founded the Mompeo Center for Arts & Regeneration with one shared purpose:
To support artists, filmmakers, writers, and creatives from all disciplines —
and to regenerate culture, land, and community through art.
Adrian Bol and Yuliia Bol are the founders of the Mompeo Center for Arts & Regeneration, a creative and cultural hub in the medieval village of Mompeo, Italy.
Together, they bring decades of experience in cinema, storytelling, performance, and the arts — united by one mission: to use creativity as a force for renewal, community, and cultural transformation.
Adrian Bol — Film Director, Writer & Painter
Adrian is a filmmaker known for directing the action thriller Legacy of Lies, which reached #2 on Netflix in the United States, and Breaking Cover, shot with legendary cinematographer Andrzej Sekula — known for Pulp Fiction.
As a writer-director, Adrian is recognized for his distinctive cinematic language: emotional, visually-driven, and rooted in strong character journeys. His work spans international film productions, screenwriting, and concept development, with a strong dedication to teaching and guiding new filmmakers.
Beyond cinema, Adrian is also an abstract painter, with exhibitions including a notable show at the Pax Aris Museum in Rome. His artistic practice blends gesture, spirituality, and sensory perception — elements that also fuel the creative philosophy of the Mompeo Center.
Yuliia Bol — Novelist
Yuliia Sobol began her career as an actress, appearing in Italian, European and international productions such as Domina, Koza Nostra, Don Matteo, A Classic Horror Story, and more.
Today, she is the author of The Invisible Kingdom, a cinematic, emotionally rich novel rooted in themes of spiritual warfare, ancestral legacy, and psychological transformation. Her writing is known for its immersive, atmospheric style and deep emotional resonance — the same qualities she brings to mentoring artists and storytellers at the Center.
Yuliia’s transition from acting to writing reflects her belief that stories have the power to heal, illuminate, and change the world — a belief at the core of the Mompeo Center’s mission.

Where creativity meets renewal, and light finds its way into every story we tell and every piece of art we create.
